Terms of Service

By creating an account, connecting an Instagram account, or using PipelineDM, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use PipelineDM on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms, and “you” includes that business.

PipelineDM is a web application for Instagram-first businesses. It connects to an Instagram professional account through Meta's official APIs, pulls direct-message conversations into a workspace, and presents them alongside lead and sales views. It is designed to help you identify leads, purchase intent and potential sales inside those conversations.

AI-assisted analysis and reply drafting are optional per workspace. When enabled, conversation content — including images customers send — may be processed by the third-party AI provider described in the Privacy Policy. PipelineDM does not process payments and does not verify that a sale or payment occurred. An “AI-detected sale” is an inference from conversation content, not proof of payment.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. Instagram-created accounts may not have an email address; you are responsible for adding one if you need to receive notices.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and browser session secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
• You may only connect an Instagram account that you own or are authorised to manage.

• You must comply with Meta's and Instagram's terms, policies and community guidelines when using the service. Your use of Instagram remains governed by your agreement with Meta.
• You authorise us to access your Instagram account, profile information and messages through Meta's official APIs so that we can provide the service. You can revoke that access at any time by disconnecting Instagram in the app or through your Instagram settings.
• Meta controls its APIs and may change permissions, review requirements, rate limits or features, or revoke access at any time. Some features may stop working, or may need to be reauthorised, as a result. We are not responsible for changes or outages on Meta's side.
• Meta exposes only a limited amount of conversation data. For example, only a limited number of recent messages in a thread may be readable, and some threads may not be available at all. We do not invent data that Meta does not provide.

PipelineDM is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or deceptive purposes, or in breach of Instagram's policies;
• access an account or workspace you are not authorised to access, or attempt to bypass authentication or tenant isolation;
• scrape, crawl, reverse engineer or copy the service, or interfere with its operation, security or availability;
• upload malware, send spam, or use the service to distribute unlawful or harmful content;
• resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties as a substitute for their own account, unless we have agreed in writing;
• use the service in a way that violates the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual-property rights.

We may suspend or limit access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken or that the service is being used in a harmful way.

AI-generated analysis, classifications, confidence scores and draft replies may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or biased. A confidence score reflects the model's own estimate; it is not a guarantee of correctness. AI output is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or sending it to a customer. You remain responsible for the messages you send and for any business decision you make.

You keep ownership of the account information, conversations, messages and other content you submit to or sync through PipelineDM. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not sell it.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your content solely to provide, secure and support the service. This includes sending content to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period or as required by law.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to process the conversations you sync, including any notices or consents required for your customers' messages. You are responsible for handling those messages lawfully.

PipelineDM, including its software, design, text, graphics, logo and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software except the limited right to use the service as described here.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the service, or remove proprietary notices, without our written permission. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

The service depends on third-party services, including Meta's Instagram APIs, hosting and database providers, and — if AI features are enabled — an AI model provider. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, performance, content or practices, and your use of them may be subject to separate agreements.

We aim to keep PipelineDM available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or failures at Meta or our infrastructure providers.

We may add, change, limit or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects your use of the service, we will give reasonable notice where practical. You may stop using the service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PipelineDM is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy.

We do not warrant that synced data is complete or accurate, that AI output will be correct, or that the service will meet your business requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You may stop using the service at any time, disconnect Instagram, and request deletion of your data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use creates a security or legal risk for us or others. Where practical, we will tell you why.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. Data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Instructions. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content permissions, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law — will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in India have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the app or by email where appropriate. By continuing to use the service after the updated terms take effect, you agree to them.
